ALYof for June

Well I can only give you a sneaky peek at the quilt for my sister....I want her to see it up close and not on line.  This has been a true labor of love for me to make.  It all started with the love of Kaffe Fassett fabrics.....then the blog....http://materialobsession.typepad.com/....those folks are so creative in Austrilia!!!

My sister is they one that turned me on to both Kaffe and the blog!!!  So this present is all for her!!  Happy Belated Birthday Barbie!!!

Making progress on ALYoF

I am having a lot of fun sewing around each flower....it takes time but I am enjoying it.  I had to add some red flowers because my sister loves red and I couldn't live with the pink flowers that were at the bottom right.  The twigs give better movement.  I am about half way done but I got a flu bug that has kept me down....rats....I really don't like getting sick!!  Who does?  I am glad just to be making progress!!

ALYoF for June

This is a quilt top that I made for my sister's birthday in 2012....I think it's time for me to finish it !!  Don't you?  There is a lot of stitching to do.....but I want to get this one done and let her enjoy it!!  I can do it!!!
