Merry Christmas!!

Emmanuel

Holy,holy
I will bow before
My Lord and King
Hallelujah
You have come to us
You make all things new

Emmanuel
Jesus Christ
You'll never let me go
My Shepherd King
You're watching over me
Emmanuel

So amazing
You have named the stars
Of the deepest night
Still You love me
You have called my name
I will follow You

Emmanuel
Jesus Christ
You'll never let me go
My Sheperd King
You're watching over me
Emmanuel

Holy,holy
God Almighty
There is none like you
Holy, holy
God Almighty
There is none like you

November Blues

Block Choice for November in the Sew Blues Bee.  Mod Mosaic is a block I can get lost in while making....Hope she likes what I have done.

http://www.freshlypieced.blogspot.com/2012/01/ribbon-star-block-tutorial.html  The block for Me!!  It's my turn for November and I wanted everyone to make me the "Ribbon Star" with my Hungarian Blue fabrics by Sue Zipkin.

With the Fab Little Pincushion swap I got all these goodies from  Jeanette...Scrapnchick!!!  I was so hoping that this little pinnie was for me!!!The pin and needle holder is the cutest....you can't quite see but she made it look like a piece of school paper with her stitching...so clever!  I am thrilled to bits!!

Here is my Scrappy Mug Rug Swap gift to send out to my partner....I sure hope she likes it...I added one of my own thrown mugs in the mix.  This was a lot of fun to make.  I used Nydia's "Basketweave Braid Star" pattern to make the trees.  Trees are paper pieced.  I just reduced the size down on my printer.

My gift for Margaret

In our Orange You Glad Bee....our Grand Finale was to make something for one person out of scraps from another....well Shawn sent me this....

So My mind went a bit crazy for a while trying to think up something to do....I have always loved the "Circle Of  Geese".....so here is what I came up with...

The top side of my Mini is the flying geese....all nice and proper (I made a book cover too....with my favorite book "The unexpected Mrs. Polifax" by Dorothy Gilman)

The back of the mini is all wonky and care free....so depending on how Margaret is feeling that day she can have either side facing out.

Had to add a little "bling" just for fun.
