Sew Blues Bee Finale

Here are the blocks for Sally....she chose "Anita'a Arrowhead", which showcases Anita Grossman Solomon’s unique “take” on rotary cutting. The block is fast and fun and the measurements allow you some trim space so it’s very friendly!

Marta Had us make these sweet blocks with her Denise Schmitt fabric....

My other love....clay

This is how they look in the greenware stage..... after I have thrown them on the wheel....then I trim and add the handles and spouts....then the first firing called Bisque.

After the bisque firing the clay can be handled better for the glazing.
Then they get to go back into the kiln for their high firing.  Sometimes it can take me a while to get reaquainted with them because they have changed quite a bit.
