Farm Girl Vintage
I used Denyse Schdmitt fabrics and Lakehouse dots. So happy with this. I am not sure about the border yet.
Re-do
Here is my Tula Pink City Sampler. I made this with all of my Lida Enche fabrics. I had to remove the white sashing and now I love it so much!

I am getting there...
Well I have finished all the hand sewing on my butterflies. Now I need to quilt it and add the binding.
I am going to use the blue Kaffe for my backing and binding. In Sue Spargo's class she teaches us to add even more fun to the binding. Beads, buttons and fun threads. Looking forward to this new part. I think the blue rather than the green fabric will work best for the binding....it holds it together better.

I did it!!! My "Happy Quilt"
Here is my City Sampler quilt top. The book is written by Tula Pink and I used 3 different lines by Lida Enche. I think her fabrics worked perfectly for this quilt. After losing both of my parents within less than a year these little fun blocks helped me so much. I got to look through and touch all my pretty fabrics and then sew up these really fun and not complicated blocks!!! What joy it has brought me!! Thanks so much to both ladies...Tula Pink for the book and Lida Enche for her fabulous fabrics!!!

For Ruth
I got to add a block to a friends quilt. It was a surprize for her. A comfort quilt.....she lost her Mom this past year and has many other family struggles too. So she loves pink and lime green.....and Kaffe. I am so tickled with how this turned out.

Mini quilt swap #2
Well for our second quilt swap I was paired up with the other co-leader of the group....no pressure right!!! Yikes!! She is one of my dearest friends too. This round was called "Anything Goes". Well I look through all of her favorites and came up with the pattern from Patchworkpottery and made the "Crane Star" pattern. http://patchworkpottery.blogspot.com/2012/03/crane-star-pattern.html
I also made her a paper pieced Hummer Named Zippy. This was so much fun to make! All the embroidery was sewn onto this quilt while we were up in the mountains...just lovely!!
This is the quilt Pattiann made for me....it is titled "Garden Memories" in honor of our last 2 Irish Setters....Kelsey and Darby. We had to put Kelsey down in April of 2013 and Darby down this past April. My poor husband when I opened this package....I was sobbing at the beauty and love that was all wrapped up in this beauty! Isn't it something else? I love it so much!!!
