ALYoF for February

All done and given to my dear friend and teacher Bridget.  My inspiration came from Carol aka Mamacjt.  All the fabrics are Lakehouse Drygoods except for the background which was from my Nutty Sister at Christmas.

ALYoF for February

I want to get this mini Vase quilt done as soon as possible for my ceramics teacher.  She is battling cancer and always loved the large vase of flowers that I made for my Sisters birthday.  So I am pushing myself to get this little guy gone as soon as I can.  The fabrics are Lakehouse and Blank Quilting for the background.  I think it was one of my Christmas presents!!  All from my stash!!

ALYoF for January....I did it!!!!

I had fun making this quilt top.  I used the Fig Tree pattern "Clovers and Jam" and one of my all time favorite fabric designers fabric...."Mimi" by Chez Moi for Moda.  I think it turned out so soft and sweet.....and it was from my stash....all except the stop and border fabric I had to get on line.  Pretty great way to start the year off with sewing!!!

City Sampler by Tula Pink and Lida Enche

I am so in love with Tula Pink's book and blocks for "City Sampler" and Lida Enche's collection of fabrics to play with and make this quilt.  I know my name is "Can't stop quilting" but I really have the fever for these blocks and these fabrics!!!

ALYoF for December....one more time

Playing with the new layout and new fabrics.  Now below I am taking it all apart....I know...I'm nuts!!
Now all back together again....a bigger version with more fabrics....Yippee!!  I got it done before the end of the year!!!  The grey gingham really plays nicely with the bolder fabrics....one of those lines I bought quite a while ago and then didn't know what to do with them.  I am happy now!!!
