August SBB Blocks For Mary and Teri

                                   Here we go... I got it right...both were such fun blocks to make!

Just had to make this!!

This is one of many....probably...tea cup quilts that I just had to make!!  The pattern came from Cat in our Sew Blues Bee.  http://www.fvqg.org/09archiv/0409.htm

  It was love at first sight for me.  Here I am using Chez Moi "Fresh Air" by Moda....it's an oldie but goodie!!  I am a Chez Moi Junkie!!

My Swap Partner....Sally

 Here are all the lovely things that Sally made for me in our Orange You Glad swap....that wreath was all hand sewn...I treasure things like that!!  I am a very special girl!!

This was a very special surprise...Pattiann had sent a while back the two outside blocks (a very long story ) and the center block is from Sally....they go together perfectly!!!

In our Orange You Glad Bee....our Grand Finale was to make something for one person out of scraps from another....well Shawn sent me this....


So My mind went a bit crazy for a while trying to think up something to do....I have always loved the "Circle Of  Geese".....so here is what I came up with...

The top side of my Mini is the flying geese....all nice and proper (I made a book cover too....with my favorite book "The unexpected Mrs. Polifax" by Dorothy Gilman)

The back of the mini is all wonky and care free....so depending on how Margaret is feeling that day she can have either side facing out.

Had to add a little "bling" just for fun.
